The Te Ahu Pātiki Charitable Trust consists of a board of volunteers and a Kaituitui. The Board has up to 6 members appointed by the park’s founding partners and up to 3 further members appointed by the Board itself. The founding partners are the Rod Donald Banks Peninsula Trust, Orton Bradley Park, Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke and Te Rūnanga o Koukourārata. The Board employs one part-time employee, the Kaituitui, to manage the day to day running of the Trust’s activities.

Maintenance work on the maunga is contracted out with the core maintenance work undertaken by the Orton Bradley Park team. Additional specialist work is supplied via local contractors including Tiaki Taiao, the kaimahi entrusted with delivering environmental outcomes on behalf of Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke Inc.
