Tēnā koe, Ko Tasman Turoa Gillies ahau. Ko Kāi Tahu me Ngāti Kahungunu ki Heretaunga ōku iwi. Ko Ngāti Wheke to hapū. I’ve got a focus on how to restore, maintain and enhance the relationships between people and the environment. I spend most of my time working with iwi, hapū and NGOs to develop data strategies that support their aspirations to do with te taiao. I strive to democratise trustworthy data and data infrastructure for iwi and hapū that works for them in their context. I see an urgent and real need to scale the flow of data and information to the frontline to enable the restoration and protection of te taiao. Mauri Ora!
