Morag Butler:

Born and bred in Ōtautahi and spending summer holidays on Te Pataka o Rakaihautū Banks Peninsula, I feel a strong connection to this area and look forward to using my skills and knowledge in climate change, ecosystem ecology and strategic thinking to contribute to ecosystem restoration on Te Ahu Pātiki. I am currently the Team Lead of the Climate Change & Community Resilience Strategy team at Environment Canterbury and have a PhD in coastal ecosystem modelling.
